Sarah is the Regional Lead for the Blue Nature Alliance, where she leads and manages engagements throughout Europe and European overseas territories. Sarah comes from her native Ireland, where she served as a public policy and parliamentary political advisor to an Irish Government leader and cabinet minister for the Department of the Environment, Climate, Communications, and Transport. Sarah has over a decade of experience in leadership roles throughout the international space working on green governance, nature-based solutions, sustainable development with c-suite-level executives, senior high-ranking state officials, and senior government officials. Sarah has a strong background in overseeing stakeholder engagement processes, including climate action efforts, along with her strategic, political, and campaigning expertise. Sarah holds an interdisciplinary master’s in public policy (MPP) specializing in environmental policy and an undergraduate degree in Politics and International Relations with Geography from University College Dublin. Sarah is well-versed in geopolitics and international affairs, having taught international relations, comparative politics, and political theory. In her free time, Sarah enjoys adventuring outdoors with her family, trying new experiences, and playing with her local ladies’ Gaelic football team.
