Scott is a marine conservation specialist with 25 years’ of experience working to advance nearshore and coastal conservation initiatives. Most of his career has focused on Southeast Asia and the Pacific Islands and on capacity development and learning for marine resource management. He has worked in Palau since the early 1990s including supporting Hatohobei State in the Southwest Islands of Palau to establish the Helen Reef Conservation Area and supporting numerous initiatives to strengthen protected area management.
