Stephanie Camillo

Stephanie is a project director with Pew’s environment program, serving in a chief-of-staff capacity for the largest program portfolio within The Pew Charitable Trusts. In this role she supports the design and development of strategic initiatives and special projects across the portfolio, serves as an advisor and thought partner to portfolio leadership, and manages a cross-cutting team of staff. For several years she worked in Pew’s philanthropic partnership unit where she managed a portfolio of more than sixty institutional partners for Pew’s environment portfolio. Prior to joining Pew, Stephanie was with The George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs, where she was special assistant to the dean. While there she helped to implement a strategic planning process and fundraising campaigns and managed the board of advisors for one of the largest international affairs schools in the United States. She has a background in non-profit management, higher education, fundraising, and international education and development, and large-scale partnership development and design. She currently serves as president on the board of directors for Community Spring, a social justice organization based in Gainesville, Florida. Stephanie has a master’s degree in International Affairs from the George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts in English and International Affairs from Boston College.
